On Mobile
1. Open Facebook App.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Touch the search bar at the top of the screen, type in the name of the individual you want to report, tap their name, and then touch their profile photo.
3. Tap More. This option is near the top of the customer's page, simply listed below as well as to the right of their name.
4. Tap Give feedback or report this profile. It's in the pop-up menu. Doing so raises one more menu with reporting alternatives.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Tap one of the complying with options in the menu:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you picked either the Acting to Be Someone alternative or the I Wished to Assist alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "Who are they acting to be?" section.
- I Want to Help-- Touch a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you provide us some even more information?" area.
7. Tap Send. It's a blue switch at the end of the screen.
8. Tap Done when prompted. Doing so verifies that your record was sent.
On Desktop computer
1. Open up Facebook. Go to https://www.facebook.com/ in your computer system's web browser. This will open your Information Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook.
2. Go to the page of the person whom you want to report. Click the search bar on top of the screen, key in the name of the person you wish to report, click their name, and afterwards click their account image. Additionally, situate as well as click their name in your News Feed.
3. Click ⋯. It's snuggled in the bottom-right edge of the cover photo on top of their profile page. Doing so prompts a drop-down menu.
4. Click Give feed back or report this profile. It remains in the pop-up menu. This opens up a home window with different reporting options.
5. Select a reason for reporting the profile. Click one of the following options in the window:
- Pretending to Be Someone
- Fake Account
- Fake Name
- Posting Inappropriate Things
- I Want to Help
- Something Else
6. Select follow-up details if necessary. If you chose either the Making believe to Be Somebody alternative or the I Intended to Help alternative, do the following:
- Pretending to Be Someone-- Tap Me, A Friend, or Celebrity in the "That are they making believe to be?" area.
- I Want to Help-- Tap a factor (e.g., Suicide or Harassment) in the "Can you give us some more information?" area.
7. Click Send. This blue switch remains in the bottom-right edge of the home window.
8. Click Done when prompted. This verifies that your report has actually been sent out.
